Senior Associate
Luke Meyer focuses primarily on representing clients in corporate, transactional, regulatory, and employment matters. He has extensive experience drafting and negotiating various types of agreements, as well as advising clients in commercial disputes and regulatory compliance matters. Mr. Meyer also has significant experience representing clients in intellectual property matters concerning trademarks. He has provided legal counsel to a wide variety of entities, including corporations (both nonprofit and for-profit), cooperative associations, limited liability companies, and commodity research and promotion entities.
Former Jobs/Positions Held
After graduating from law school in 2011, Mr. Meyer spent two years with the business services practice group at Carmody & Torrance LLP in Connecticut, and focused primarily on corporate, transactional, and regulatory matters. In addition to his experience in private practice, Mr. Meyer worked with the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Office of the Solicitor for three years, where he focused primarily on representing the National Park Service in transactional matters, including matters concerning concession contracts and leases, and with Natural Resources Defense Council, Inc.’s (NRDC’s) Office of the General Counsel for three years, where he worked on transactional matters and NRDC’s contracts system. Mr. Meyer has been with Watkinson Miller for over five years and focuses on corporate, commercial, transactional, regulatory, trademark, and employment matters.
